Firstly i would to thank damo for being late, if he wasnt i would never have got a ride. This is probably the most varied ride i have ever been on unfotunatly i was riding alot slower than i would normally but damo was an excellent guide and waited for me always. There was plenty of slidy singletrack fun to be had i did fall off a few times but nothing major mainly because i could not clip out quick enough definately trails to be riden with flat pedals. If there is anyone on this site thinking of doing a first ride but is worried about not being fit enough and slowing everyone down i would not worry at all everyone starts somewere!

No worries mate, bit peed off the others didnt wait for us tho. oh well never mind it was still good but oh so slippery....love it....!

That's good to know mate. New on the forum to mountain biking and hoping to get down in the next few weeks for first the first time so hopefully see you down there. Glad you mentioned the pedals too, I have spd's on my road bike and was wondering what would best for mountain biking so I will stick with flats for a while and see how it goes.

There was I up for a slippery ride but had work to do alas.

Good to have some new faces on the ride though.
