Damn it .. back in the UK for stag doo that weekend!!

I should be good for the 2 weekends before that, and the one after - but I think that is the bank holiday weekend.
Go with the majority on the date.

Bank holiday is 30th August mate so we are talking about the week before.

Is your stag on the bank holiday and you were associating the 21st with the bank holiday or do you know that it is the 21st if that makes sense?

I can do the weekend of the 14th without issue

Sorry - Yea stag is weekend of the 21st .. I could do w/e 7th, 14th, or the bank holiday weekend - But I guess the b/holiday would be super expensive/people are more likely to have plans.

Guys why not try Winterberg in Germany, only 5hrs drive from calais.

Leave on an early friday afternoon ferry and you will be back late monday night ready for work on tuesday and have 3 days lift assisted riding. Thats what I'm planning that bank holiday then hopefully I'm off to canada for two weeks in sept.

Good looking site. Will have to have a closer look to plan out what I want to ride when I get out to Leo & Morzine.

According to http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/i ... 1.240.html they are building a new track which will cut out that quite nice but not steep singletrack traverse followed by sketchy fireroad exit down to the Lindarets bowl - you know the one that starts at the flying fox zip wire when heading home to Morzine.

fast, flowy, massive berms, some good jumps - good news - attempting to manual through those drainage ditches while avoiding walkers on that fast fireroad was always a bit dodgy at the end of the day.
