Don't think so, if you are talking about his canobdale, it had a 1.5" straight steerer that when he fitted a new fork he was running a tapered steerer

Had two. One on DH bike, 1 1/8" steerer & 1.5 tube, 2 degrees. One on trail bike, 1 1/8" steerer, 1 1/8" tube, 1 degree. Both made difference and no problems. Nice bit of kit.

Are you not better off with offset bearings mate? That's what I did for Jamies Giant and it works a treat.

I would fit off set bushes but it's for the hard tail lol

Anyway, if I was going down the same route for the banshee I still would fit the headset due to it already being set in the slack setting on the flip clip system so the bottom bracket os very low as it is

Yeah, probably right... hard to fit the offsets to a hardtail lol
