Just collected my starter bike and ready to get out and ride.
Will probably spend most of my time here asking stupid questions, please dont get annoyed. LOL
Looking to ride local due to transport issues right now. Hope to see some of you around, I will be the one you go booting past probably!
Work shifts so can get out during the week if anyone is around?
Have fun, ride hard! 8-)

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum.

Seems like no question is too petty with the great crowd on here!

What 29er have you got?

Hey Rob,
just got a cheepy trek marlin through cycle2work scheme. should allow for decent upgrades if I get hooked. 29er was recomended as an easier ride for a beginer. had a trek many moons ago, when I was younger and slimmer, LOL. just want to do some xc and trail stuff. nothing to crazy. might actually use it occasionally to "ride to work!"

I guess its very entry level, but it matches my skills right now! ha.

How's it going Paul... ;)

We'll be organising a "Beginner's Ride" soon from Belhus Park, and beyond... I'll be ridding from Tilbury if you fancy it. ;)

Hiya Paul and welcome to the forum. If I don't die at danbury tomorrow I'm riding out from east tilbury on Sunday morning to belhus park via chafford to do the loop round there if your interested? I'm no xc whippet, and there's not a lot of technical riding on this route, so it'll be a nice icebreaker for you and anyone else whose interested. No elitism on this forum, so just get out and ride what you ride and have fun.
