Hi Vikki,
There are regular rides in the area.

If you're on Facebook, have a look for 'Hadleigh MTB Club' & 'Muckers MTB Forum'.
I know there are regular rides on Sunday mornings around Belfairs/Daws Heath/ Hadleigh with the Hadleigh group as well as a weekly night ride. There is at least one or two women who go on these rides.
I think the Muckers go out on a Saturday morning, starting from Progress Road. I also think there is a "ladies' " ride one morning on the week.

You're also very welcome to join our regular rides outside of those groups as we tend to organise quite a few local ones as well as jaunts over to Danbury, Thorndon, Epping, etc.
You don't need to worry about being 'the only girl in the village' ;) We're a harmless, if not a little eclectic bunch ;)

I'll not be out for a while as I messed up my shoulder and knee 4 weeks ago but hope to be getting back in the saddle very soon a d building up the fitness again.

Hi again Vikki,

I don't suppose you're Grae's sister and heading out with 'Kiv' tomorrow morning with Grae and a few others?

If so, say hi to Grae, not seen him on the trails in ages. My mate Tony will be meeting you in the morning too for the 7:30 rendezvous :)

This is all on the assumption it is you but when I saw Tony today he mentioned he was heading out in the morning with Grae, his sister and her friend so thought it too much of a coincidence :)

Cheers,
Ev

Small world eh? Good to hear Grae back in the saddle :)

Yep, look forward to seeing you guys out in what will hopefully not be too muddy trails by the time I get back on the bike. I'm itching to get out but will depend on my knee's recovery :(

I saw Kiv mentioned Danbury on her thread this morning.. We head over there sometimes as some good XC trails (about 8-10 mile loop) and then back for 'playtime' at the common for the downhill runs, bomb holes and jumps :). Needless to say, I've now bought some armour for my return to Danbury ;)
