Morning, evening, or hello to all my fello riders.

I'm a friend of Vikki Waller (female rider) who has recommended me to this site.
Off road, road cycling or just a general get together, anything to do with with biking were pretty up for it. Although I do wimp out when it comes to jumps, only due to spending time in hospital with a dislocated shoulder. Yep hit a tree on the way down. Never quite got my confidence back

Was hoping to get out there more with plenty of riders and learn more. Me and Vikki ride together as much as we can.
Danbury is a favourite spot for us, we love down hill. :high5: (I don't class myself as a pro thou, still learning)
Would love to try more night riding I have heard its pretty amazing? Just got shot of my jump bike and got a hard tail for Christmas (yep...very lucky)

Look forward to hearing from you.. Any recommendations are welcome.

Safe riding
Kiv (Victoria) x x

Hi Kiv,

Vikki just posted yesterday and a few of us responded with some local info on the thread..

http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/introduce-yourself/female-rider-southend-t3998.html

Unfortunately I know from very recent experience about messing up shoulders (now recovering from grade III A C Joint separation and just this morning confirmed ruptured Collateral Medial ligament. All from one silly stack over at Danbury a month ago :( )

Hope yo see you 'gals' out on the local trails and yes, edfinitely get yourself some good lights and get out on the night rides, they're brilliant fun :)

Ev

Cheers for all the replies..
I hit hadleigh and belfairs this morning at the stupid hour of 7am. There was four of us who got cakes in mud and soaking wet!! We slipped and skidded all over the show. The ground was muddy, wet and unstable BUT we loved it.
3 hours and headed back to warm up as shorts probably was not the best thing to wear :(

Just incase anyone was thinking of hitting the woods today I totally recommend it before the weather turns to bad.
Has anyone been Danbury yet? Dying to get there??!

Thanks you

Kiv
