'lo jmac and Adam. I'm one of the Rob's who also lives near Braintree (moving to Rayne soon). Good to see more locals surfacing! Unfortunate that we have to travel a little to find good stuff to ride. Hope to meet you soon.

Hi Rob - thanks for the welcome...

I know what you mean about having good riding on your doorstep (I've got mates up North who can bowl out of their front door and up/down a proper incline).

On the other hand, I decided in discussion with a mate this week that having Epping, Danbury, Thetford etc all within an hour still qualified as 'on your doorstep' in the grand scheme of things. Might not be the Alps, but it's nice-riding stuff within a distance that our American cousins wouldn't even blink at.

Could be worse…

And likewise, hope to put a face to the name soon!
