Hi folks been reading the forum for a few days. Got myself a bike last month having been a roadie for the past few years but moved to Bicknacre last year so thought it rude not to have a ride over Danbury. Only ventured there once for a saturday night ride so far but will try to get out either wednesday night or sunday morning. Maybe see some of you out on the trails. Also got talked into doing the Thetford series 2 hour race this weekend which should be good fun.

Welcome to the forum, there's a fair amount of single track over Danbury if you know where your going, what bike did you end up getting?

I got a Voodoo Hoodoo after reading the reviews. Didnt have a big budget and really only got it so I could take the kids out on bridle paths or over the woods. Looks an ok bit of kit for basic trails, usual rules though when I get into it I am sure I will be looking at a full suss costing the same as a car.

Nothing wrong with riding a hard tail, you will learn a lot from having to pick better lines and to be honest most stuff localy can be riden on one. I've just gone back to a hard tail for winter use.
