Hi All,

My names Tom and I'm a bit new to all this! I'm literally just about to go and pick up my new bike tomorrow, and I want to get into a bit of cross country riding. The bike is a Specialized Crosstrail Sport Disc 2013, picked because it's going to be my commuting bike as well!

I've had the thoughts of maybe heading up to Epping, as I'm up there a lot anyway (I do Winch Challenge off roading and some Comp Safari racing as well and the guy I co-drive for keeps the trucks in Epping). I've also got the option of taking my bike up to Peterborough a lot as my other half lives up there!

So, any recommendations or tips that people can give me?!
