Hi all,

Quick intro about myself.

My names Martin

Basicially i'm the wrong side of 35, havn't exercised in an age and have just quit smoking so have to shift about 20 years of tar from my lungs . I'm married with two young nippers, add that all together and it seems i ain't doing myself no favours.

I'm a good friend of one of your members (Foxy) who suggested giving MTB'ing a try, he also mentioned that alot of the lads on forum use it as an excuse to hide from the missus for a good few hours a week which was the persuading factor in his suggestion :P

Sport wise, was always skates, skateboards and bikes when i was a kid, spent alot of time down ROM skatepark faceplanting the concrete.

More recently snowboarding, when you get to know foxy alittle better you'll realise he has an uncanny knack for videoing you at your worst, there is a 3 minute video about of me just stacking it in St Anton. Then again it just may be down to the fact that i do stack it often, I don't think MTB'ing will be any different.

Anyway looking forward to meeting you guys, have been to Thorndon and Laindon so far and well enjoyed it

Always best to get it out of the way at the start, itching more due to the Tyre Change interval next to a Mosquito larvae breeding dirt pond

Well enjoyed it
