Howzit,

been living in essex for a year now, predominately a road rider (about 250km/week) but as the weather is rather pants, i've put the colnago in the room and dusted off the zaskar.

used to race in south africa, mainly XC and downhill but noticed there aren't many hills out here...

There are some decent spots for DH fun..official, Aston Hill, Chicksands and unofficial..Danbury and others, the Olympic XC track will be open to the public at some point soon...and on the plus side, we are nearer to European DH meccas such as Morzine, etc.
