Mornin' All. I'm a 19 year old guy named Vince from the little old Island of Canvey and I'm total newbie to mountain biking! Had an accident on a BMX in 2007 (http://goo.gl/xUFpK) which left me in a bit of a pickle and unable to ride. Got back into cycling a few years ago now, nothing too serious, just some light park attempts and general riding and now I think it's about time that I got back on the proverbial horse!

I recently picked myself a cheap hardtail/jumpbike, a GT Chucker XS2, and have been fixing it up a little in hopes that I may be able to throw the blighter down a hill sometime soon! It's far from the best bike, but for the price, I wouldn't get anything better!

So... yeah. Hey!

Welcome along, keep an eye on the ride calendar in the top right of the screen as that is the best way to see what is happening

Also, does anyone know where would be decent for a newb to start riding? I've heard good things about langdon hills.

If your coming from a bmx background and want to work up then danbury is ideal ! its ideal if you want to get pretty loose too!

Hi dude I'm from the rock as well keep eye out for rides Danbury the place to go its like a bog in the downs, & shipwrights at mo not been out myself for a while

I need to get out and jut plod about knocking up some miles for general fitness as its hindering my Danbury fun huffin' and puffin' after every run !!

Went round canvey sea wall last night keep legs moving even that is sodden !!!
