Martin, big thanks for sharing this nugget with us. Been a bit stiff today, but not as much as i was expecting tbh. Some of those climbs are killer though (for me at least) Javi was playing on them, riding up a bit, skidding then repeating this for 100 meters or so

or riding to the top then back down to see where slow Pete was. I am definitely up for some more ridgeway action in the future (dry would be nice)
After investigating the 4 out of 20 gears i found this....


My guess is that the mud clogged the rear mech, causing the cable to become slack inside the shifter when i changed gear, then getting caught and bent some how. Was a real pain in the ass yesterday, but on the plus side its a new cable and not a new shifter
