Chatting to a guy who recommends this place but a fair distance to say the least.

Would need an overnight, next year possibly?

Rode Dalby forest couple years back on the Norco Six One and got knackered quite quickly; its not a good place for a heavy bike as it's a constantly undulating trail requiring lots of peddling. Very rocky in some places and ended up down some scary ravine in the fading light not knowing where I was. Would like to go back there but not on a 36lb bike. Don't think it is very suited to a hardtail either. Very good challenging singletrack; would like to do the whole loop one day having only completed a third. There is also quite a wicked looking bike park and good facilities there.

I did a week there last summer, lots of trails and difficult to do it all in a day. Lots of new stuff for the world cup since then, so well worth a visit. We camped on a site which was right in the middle of it all, just a 10 minute ride to Dixons Hollow, which has doubles a small 4x track and some northshore.
