Been offered a trip to BPW as an uplift day. I'm not the best, most skilled rider, but hopefully not the worst about either :wtf: So do i accept, or do you think it would be too much for me? I don't mind falling off (got plenty of built in padding) and would my Trance X be up to it? or should i get the old Iron steed out. Trance is a 29er 120 front and back travel. Banshee is 26er 150 front 140 back sus.

Thoughts on this appreciated

60-70% of the trails there are like really nice trail center descents - Banshee is 26er 150 front 140 back will be great there!

Enjoy

Cheers guys  i better get the Banshee out and give it a bit of a service then. Good day at FoD today. Lots of crashes, but only saw the ambulance being used once (didn't actually take anyone away) Didn't ride/race was just there to meet the Army team guys, so much bike porn about... shocking

100% do it! so many good runs and depending on how fast or slow you go they become more or less technical.

BPW is super fun.......nothing too mad there .....all the blues are quite roll able, will help if you can turn/do berms properly without slowing down too much. Trails at BPW are slightly rocky and grippy in all weather conditions, Reds are about the same, no real shocks or huge drops, just gnarlier, rockier and lots of tree stumps on edge of trails.

Blacks mostly not too mental but there are a few surprises. I'd certainly want a 26" or 650b, not a 29" fan, don't think you can lean them into berms or get weight behind the seat as much.

Always seems wet/mucky there so I'd recommend full face/googles/tear offs.
