I remember seeing the VAST trailor back in April, loved it and downloaded the song about 5 milliseconds after watching it.

Enjoy in readiness for the film!

Pickup at door. I wouldnt worry to much as long as you take your credit card and proof who you are. Photo driving licence as extra security would be good but again dont stress over it you will get in.

Looking like a good turn out :D

Meet at Garrick arms around 7 pm for a few beers and toasting Jemima's arrival? Venue is only a few minutes from there.

Be interested to know what you guys thought of LifeCycles?

Saw it a couple of weeks ago, was a bit dissapointed after all the hype, nice camera work and everything, but just lacked something in the riding. The others I was with felt the same, and one fell asleep it in!

Hey guys, good to see you all last night - has been a while! :D Would love to come out riding with you guys soon.

Films-wise - I did enjoy both films but neither totally did it for me... VAST was really good at points, especially the section with the guy in the rain who ended up busting his arm. But it was also pretty slow in places, especially the start. And what happened to the woman in the last section, she just disappeared!

I enjoyed lifecycles but it's not a film I'd be desperate to watch again - it is visually stunning but it just didn't seem to have enough ooommf (if that makes sense), - normally I come out of watching a bike film and I'm desperate to get out and ride but it definitely wasn't the case with lifecycles!

That said, Tom did really like it so perhaps it's just me!

Nice to see everyone even if i was a bit zombiefied with sleep deprivation

I think id agree with the comments above - I like a movie to make me want to ride and it didn't - it was more like an art piece which happened to be about biking. The slo mo time lapse scenery stuff was very impressive but dull after a while. I prefer to see technically impressive riding rather than camerawork.

vast was ok - some nice scenery but when it came out it never made waves and you can see why

Dany Mac's latest film was probably the highlight of the night?

Good to see everyone last night, and have a few beers too.

I think the above comments are spot on . For me they were great to watch but left you feeling that there should have been more riding. Must admit thou the camerawork / cinematography of Lifecycles was really amazing.

Dany Mac film was truly drawdropping !
