Riding wise.... Any goals i have left, which are few, are pretty un-achievable now, getting a tad to old to go riding Utah, etc & cant risk the injury like i used to... lol.
Just going to settle down and get my teeth into some Enduro events, and just carry on riding for the sheer pleasure of it.... :)

:eh: I read that & had to say, you're not too old till your dead

Generally for me this year:

Find somewhere to ride & ride much more
Get back on the weights & protein shakes for a tune up
Get away for a few days at a time as often as poss, quite fancy Wales just because I've never been. For those of you who have I was talking to a guy in the shop the other day who reckons Dalby Forest is better for XC ( there is some DH too ) & its slightly closer.

My years main event will be the Megavalanche followed by the Mountain Of Hell. Just need to figure details but if all goes to plan I'll fly out from Stansted to Lyon on the 4th of July then TGV to Allemond & back on the 22nd. If anyone's interested in the madness the more the merrier, we are 2 so far, sign up for the MOH is open now, Mega sign up opens on the 15th of Jan.

Well i made a feeble start on mine over Danbury on Sunday, although it was after Ev had his stack so that was firmly in my mind but i just popped out the practice jump to see how it feels to table top a MTB, to be honest it sucked, it was hard work, these 26" gyroscopes and longer frames are going to take some effort to put the flatness back, i only managed a whip type affair with a dodgy landing LOL

but its a start....

try practising the ski jump, there is much more time in the air to work with if you are finding that an issue.

1) Get a drivers license - passed the theory test today, soon it'll the practical

2) Get a cheap car to enable me to take bike whenever I want to ride. on standby

3) Learn the correct pace for doing drops at chicksands. Done!

4) Also it was on my plans to build a DJ bike, It's been built and sold!

And the sun is shining!!!!

Managed the canyon at Danbury last night, its been eluding me for a decade!

Booked in to do drops and jumps with Jedi on Tuesday as I missed out on the last course doing the table tops due to poor weather.

But my riding has dramatically changed since the last training session in November so hopefully I'll fulfill the wheels off the floor more bit earlier in tge thread.
