Hi Guys

This could come across as a stupid question but here it goes.

I am looking to buy my first POV Camera and am leaning towards the Go Pro 3.

However, whilst I can look at the comparison between the white and silver editions all day long, I don't really understand them. Nor do I really want to. I just want to be able to mount it up and press record and hopefully get some decent quality footage.

However, is there really any noticeable difference between the white and silver edition that warrants the extra cash?

All help appreciated.

J

I have a silver, I turn it on, point, shoot and occasionally use the WiFi.
There will be playback functionality soon on the app so as long as the white has WiFi then game on.

Cheers guys.

Do either of you use it to take stills much? As as Wonkle points out I don't think there is much difference other then stills quality.

I have the white and as far as I can see the real difference is the CCD which captures the image behind the lens, it's a better one on the silver so can do bigger Mpx and faster frame rate as well capture at a higher visual quality.
