We've been riding good sized stuff for a while.... here is Tom on the chickie big ladder in 2008 on a 4 inch trail bike
and Joel in Chatel in 2009
yada yada
... so we had already
thown ourselves off some good sized stuff. However we would crash now and then and it was all self taught. We all had some glaring errors in our riding and needed someone to point them out.
I don't think we would have done 5540867353_31cd55ebed_o.jpg when we arrived for the day. However its more about giving you a framework so you can take your riding to whatever level your mental skills will allow, rather than teaching you to do big stuff.
As I mentioned the most important part of the day was Tony taking us back to school on a 6 inch drop. We could of course ride that in our sleep but we were doing it wrong and getting away with it cos its small... get it wrong on a 12ft drop and your in trouble... so its important to correct bad habits on the small stuff and then see where you can go from there.
