Theres about 10 in total (ignore no.1), I think the guys are solwer than me..but it's a good guide to all the various runs.

Interesting that they hired bikes ? i couldnt imagine riding that stuiff (apart from the red route) on a bike i didnt know ?

I guess you'd get to know it pretty quick though LOL

Yeah..me neither..Seems very wierd, after all you spend a fortune on your own bike getting it exactly how you want and then go to France and rent a different one that has (from what I've heard) been thrashed to death...although did see quite a lot of peeps on rented Specialised bikes that looked very new last yeaer, although these were XC not DH models.

They are very pricey to rent, and it only costs an extra £50 to take it on EasyJet

Lots of new stuff in Chatel since i went last - if ur in the PDS you must must check out Chatel. Linking in with the trails down to les lindarets its the best park area in the alps. Have done lots of day trips. Its easy to get to from Morzine

Karve.

Thanks for that, looks good.

Never gone that far, although did ride upto lake Montriond last year which is about half way, I quite fancy the route, up Super Morzine (thus avoiding the uophill slog!), ride round the high cliffs overlooking Montriond and then further on to Les Lindarets and from there the Chatel stuff is quite near, and Switzerland is not that far away.

Majik.

Yep..I rode from Morzine to Lake Montriond last year but this was following the road and a bit of an uphill slog but not too bad, the Chatel runs (posted by Karve above) are a bit further.

Although I havnt confirmed it (ill check with Paul at my bruvs chalet) but I think the best route is go into Morzine, get cable car up Super Morzine (this is mountain other side of town opposite the main Pleney one), go up there and then its flat/downhill till the Les Linderts DH runs, the Chatel runs are just below that.

Campery is quite a bit further but looking at my maps there are plenty of cable cars which take you up and over the Swiss border and into Champery.

Some of the guys I went with last year did that route and I recall there is a youtube vid of guy doing the whole trip, this was on the Chamepry WC day where of course it pissed with rain and Danny hart did his amazing run :)
