Didn't do the skateboard thing Jon, only thing I got from skateboarding was concussion in the late seventies !! I live near the gunny & nothing much changed since I rode bmx therein the early 80's ! I m thinking we have crossed paths at some point Jon

Possibly, i used to ride with Sid, Craig Schofield, Craig and Frazer Campbell, Bunn ( and Ruffel occasionally), used to spend way too much time with the Weinmans at RadCity too and i rode a lot at Thundersley common with a whole crew of guys there (remember S&T bikes on the a127? ) Rayleigh Grove and Of course Rom, Southsea, Meanwhile and Dorking

My mate Mike Lyons lived just down the road that leads to the Gunny , he's just moved to the US though, you may know him, he was a skater and was over there all the time

Dizzy was ok after i'd modified it (dont ask... wrong engine in the wrong car !) and the car started today, few teething issues to sort out though, can definitely see the light at the end of this tunnel and i dont think its a train heading towards me !!

will probably just go and work on the car, it rained really heavy here last night and some more today, will take a lot to even begin to dry out as its that clay crap so will leave the recon until next week possibly, unless i can convince the missus to go for a walk ;)

It's good to earn brownie points when the riding is so bad :)
