Went out today and was upset to find the old BMX stuff at Rayleigh grove almost in dis-repair, i used to session the hell out of this place when the BMX track was being built in the 80's, then it became hardcore trails after locals dug up a lot of the track to buid some pretty gnarly 8ft dirt jumps, but today.....

having said that for beginners its kind of ok, the small rhythm section shown on the right of the pic the jumps are only about 2ft and flow quite well, the larger jump in the centre would ok for learning on too so not all bad, but still a shame after how good the place was once :?

Like you said, a small group dug them up and made crazy big jumps which not many people could use.

Because of that, they obviously got majorly reduced and now are little more than lumps in the ground.

Shame, as I learnt how to jump on the table top to the far right when it was about 2ft high.......

Yep, they got levelled last year for some reason... Maybe they'll get rebuilt?

You could session whats left of the original Table top, its about 4-5ft with a nice transition, but that s about it !
