Recognise some of those trails. Love riding there when it's not too wet. Did you do any runs down from Dunkery Beacon (highest point)?

yep there is one on the vid.. @ about 15.50. It was blowing like a gale at the top and the run off was a wicked rock strewn boulder fest.. and fairly brutal as well. We had to push up to it part of the way as well which was a bit of a killer

Ah might have missed that as I had to skip a fair bit due to watching it during lunch at work. The Exmoor Explorer ride I do every August has made us ride up and over that 3 years in a row now, last time in torrential rain. Climbs straight from Wheddon Cross to the top, 4 or so miles of climbing! A few years back a fella's Pace fork came apart on one of those run downs a few riders in front of me. Was rushed off to Exeter hospital but was ok the next day.

Edit: Now watched! If you go off the other side of the beacon you can ride down 'Stone Lane', which can be challenging, especially in the wet. Health and Safety busy bodies keep threatening to tarmac it as it's 'dangerous'!
