Just got back from this:

http://www.borderline-events.co.uk/nwmbc.asp

First downhill race in a few years but absolutely loved it. Was a bit of a mudfest, and the bottom section was ridiculous.

Not sure if anyone's ever made it up here (know I talked about it with Nick) but Farmer Johns in stockport is definetly worth the trip, especially if anyones around the North west area.

Result wise - Have no idea, know my time wasn't the worst, mainly because I managed to not fall off on both runs.

Heading to Aston hill early tomorrow if anyones around.

Sounds like a good session if you made it down in one piece!

Cool stuff - Farmer Johns is a bit legendary - is it a race only venue?

Think it's open most days, open weekends anyway.

Worth the trip, as there's a few other places around there that could be included (Llandgela/Gisburn/Delamere Forest)
