Can anyone suggest a phone holder for the bike? Just got a good training app on my phone but would like it in front of me and not in my pocket

Do you need a phone specific one ? or a generic one ?

out of interest what app do you use, i've been using Runkeeper, works ok, maps well and you can add pics etc on route if you fancy ! plus add all your mates to a "street team" pretty gay i know but it does help. plugs you can share maps easily.

A lot of us use Endomondo. Works ok and maps can be exported/imported. Works on all the major mobile OS's. As for the phone holder, it depends on the phone. I haven't used one myself.

Putting an expensive phone onto the handlebars then mtb'ing is just asking for trouble... You should concentrate on the ride not the phone screen.......

Haha, there is always one sensible one lol. I would just put it in my pocket but knowing my luck i will fall off and crack the screen or something. Thanks for the links

Proporta do a nice waterproof case that goes round your neck, I use it most rides and it allows me to check my progress really easily and the just tucks back into my top when done.

I had Sports Tracker on my Nokia and really liked that..and appeared to have the edge over EndoMondo..I went back to EndoMondo on my new Windows phone but now theyve got ST for Windows phone so Im back to that again

So do you get a good GPS signal with the phone in the pocket/jacket/bag? I would of thought that it we be interupted?

Ive never noticed any problems...I think its only inside buildings that effect it.
