I don't understand the results... It seems to recommend PSI or something. How much pinch and squeeze is 1 psi?

depends how big your hands are and how cold it is

Unless you use a calibrated pressure gauge you could be upto 10-12psi out! Mbr mag proved this even with the expensive workshop pumps.
I find you can't go wrong with 30psi. But that's my preference. Some like it hard some like it soft and some are hard to please

you can, but not if you run tubeless, it reacts with the sealant
