I don't ride in a waterproof unless it's -40 wind chill or full on sheets of rain. Years of being a landscaper I think

I'm also after a lightweight technical waterproof jacket. I came across the Mavic Hydro H20 jacket.

Very good and cheap here on Bike Discount for just £58

Ordered smaller size and now almost all sizes are gone and can't find it for not even similar price anywhere.

Looks like a nice jacket, but I'm far too fat for that style of cut..lol

This is more suited to my physique ...

You could try cycle surgery in store, they sell that Mavic jacket and price also match bike-discount.de. Just put the web page on your phone and show it at the till. They don't always check that the sizes in stock match the size you have chosen.

Alternatively, if you are familiar with html, you can spoof the stocked sizes of the web page.

I do downhill so expensive jackets are not an option (need a new one after every fall)

Decathlon has a fairly good one (running session) and it only costs 6£. It's got pockets and hood which most cycling jackets somehow dont have. Recommended!

Brought mine from sports direct, folds into a small ball shaped bag, and has a hood as well, only thing is it's boil in bag material, but for the price I'll cope with that rather than a drenching.... Didn't have it Sunday and got soaked in the 10 minute downpour lol :-)
