In the process of buying our first house at the moment....whoop whoop. It's in chelmsford so was wondering if there's any good rides around that way that I can practice on in the evenings and build up my fitness a bit more.

The baddow pump track is good for building up your flow. An also cornering as there are berms. A few small jumps and table tops. All on a smaller scale. This just improves and fine tunes your overall ability to handle of road trails all the better. you tube it if you have never seen it. + its very local to you.

thorndon is only a couple of junctions away on the a12 too
hadleigh etc is down the a130 so you are pretty central to all sorts of riding

Danbury is the obvious answer and the Baddow pump track is fun if you dont mind embarrasing yourself in front of gangs of 11 year olds !

Thanks. Will google those now.

downside I have at the moment is that I drive this and as you can see, no roof rack or bike carrier for it or space to put a bike in it. That I can find anyway. So need to see whats within cycling distance of an evening.

It's a 200sx, silvia is just the jap version, they are very similar. It's running 370bhp at the moment :).

I like the celica's, my brother has a 2.0l GT and that's nice, just not very fast.

The wheels are Rota GTR-D's. 18x10J rear and 18x9.5J on the front :).

You could catch a train to thorndon with a little ride from the station. Hylands will keep you amused for now.
Nice 200 a couple of mates have had some of them running over 400! Spinning up at 140 looks exciting!

Just a car fan really. I do like the jap stuff but I like german, american, even some british cars too lol.

That's a nice celica. The bike looks nice but they scare the hell out of me lol.

Me being dumb but where is Hylands?

Also, I've tried finding the Baddow bump track and can't find it on google maps. Got the postcode but that's it.

I've not had it spinning up that fast but it does spin in the wet very easily :). I'll post a track video if anyone wants to see it.

Thanks for that. Will look into it a bit more later. I didn't find a map for Baddow pump, just the postcode.

Here's the video of me going round Blyton Park :).

Not much grip lol.
