The important thing is to go with someone that knows the way around the woods.

Epping is huge and has load of single track that is not marked up as a trail/will have a little gap inbetween tree as the entrance, I've been around 10 times and always found something new to me. Thorndons just as good and as hard to find the good bits but is smaller. Danbury is good fun for jumping side and does have a lot of good trails but spread over a bigger area and most are marks right of way paths.

Everywhere is the best place to ride coz as a beginner you just need to get out there as much as possible really to get the feel for it!..just tag along with any ride you can all are beginners rides coz you take it as fast as you can coz everyone will wait for you....if they dont they arent worth riding with!

I am in stanford le hope and thanks i will proberly go epping and does any one have a single speed back wheel 24" or 26" for sale my one is buckled

It is only a little bit but cus my rear tyre is so fat it rubs on the frame andit is a pain cus i wanna ride saturday dont no what to do

Mark the buckled area of the rim and then alternate end to end of the buckled area and tighten each spoke on the hub side of the buckle by about a quarter turn until you get to the middle, then try it again and repeat as necessary, when it's about true nip the spokes on the other hub by a quarter turn too, it won't be perfect but it will suffice until you can get it done properly
