Well it's that time of year again... Lee Valley Loop.

Avey Lane is calling ;)

Leaving at 10:00am from Bury Rd car park. http://goo.gl/maps/BFzFT

The car park linked is in two halves... rough part and a tarmac part. Either part is fine as you can see one from the other.

All Welcome.

Nothing that exciting... ;)

From Bury Rd up to Mott Street on the fire roads. Down into Gunpowder park and across into the Lee valley, up the tow path into that bit with the lakes and twisty paths. Back down via a cafe on the canal, through the park again and back up Avey lane. Recover from Avey lane and back down to the car park either on the fire roads or that downhill run depending on slop / how knackered you are.

20 miles... takes about 2 hrs plus bacon stop.

Really just one step off buying a road bike :o but it's pretty mud free and there's plenty of opportunity to get the heart rate banging on the stops :?

Tolga... have you not got homework you should be doing ??? ;)

Harvey... not been to Epping for a while but I'm guessing that bits of it are already axle deep in slop.

Avey lane.... don't worry, you'll love it ;)

So the forecast is for light rain tomorrow morning until about 10:00 but I'm riding anyway ;)

I'm going to ride up to the car park from my house so won't have anywhere warm and dry to wait for people so I probably won't wait much after 10:00 for late comers :problem: ;)
