Post subject: Epping Forest conditions after this week of sunny weather?

I've only ridden Epping a few times, and it's always been a muddy mess due to rain a few days prior... I'm going for a ride this Saturday (with mbro35 group again) and wondering how much it will have dried up by then? Wondering if I should be leaving on my mudder treads, or if I can use something a bit more 'summery'?

Opinions are appreciated!

It'l take a lot more than a week of warm weather to dry Epping Forest out..

Cheers Jon ... Generally I've heard that 3 or 4 days of sunny weather is enough to dry out some parts, but some of the trails that sunlight doesn't get to might take a bit longer. ... always a gamble I guess! I'll keep an eye on that thread...

Epping should be OK for XC tyres by Saturday, although MBRO35 start in Chingford which is likely to be wetter, once you get north of High Beech it's pretty good.
