Thanks karve..kinda buried my head in the sand.had to go to work with it anyway which has been alot worse than riding.padded and strapped it up aswell as wearing safety trainers and its been ok...giving Danbury a miss for a couple of weeks though!so I did whips cross today, about 18 miles at slow pace.very sticky so wouldnt have been a fast ride anyway.missed alot of the good stuff on the way down but found some good bits on the way back.gotta say thanks again to Noel for cliff bars.swapped out bacon roll for oat bar aswell as taking the gel shots.definetly helped the return journey!will be in touch for some of the gel shots!I know Noel doesnt want to push them on anyone but if your spending your pound notes on energy bars anyway why not from someone forum friendly?nuf said.
