Hi,
I usually ride in Swinley but was wondering whether anyone familiar with Epping is available for a ride this Saturday, early(ish) - say meet for 09:30 to get a few hours in, finisihing at around 13:00?

Hi - Why would you bother riding Epping if you normally ride Swinley?

Epping is no fun at the moment, yes the bridleways are drying up and rideable but most of the single track is wet and sloppy.

I normally ride Epping (as its on my doorstep) but thinking of riding Swinley on Saturday.

Thanks for the heads up Olive - read mixed reviews of Epping since I live close by and was hoping to haev a shorter day by cutting travel time. Need to check diary but would be happy to show you around Swinley Saturday if you like - quite a few sections are closed, other 'officially closed' but very rideable, and others which are 'officially' open. Was there last week (and the week before) - conditions are now pretty acceptable.

Let me check and come bacl, but in principle, we could meet there for 9:30 and be finished up by 13:30?

Id wait another week i think before trying Epping. Its awesome when its dry but its going to take a while to get that way.

Thanks for the offer Ryh - looks like my plans have changed for Sarurday and I'll be over Epping after all with the boy and his cycling club.
