Sorry to hear that bro.... how did they get in???

Yea there are so many reports of bits getting nicked this year - it must be people coming up from the towns - we fly out on Thursday so will be as careful as we can - where do all the bikes go to - must be a raging ebay dh section in France?

I think its something that is always occurring in morzine / les gets where tope bikes are clocked. Same thing happened to a fella I knew a good few years back, he was also truly f''''''ed off as top end bike. Secure storage, at a chalet with his family.

Makes you think sometimes about the 'chalets'.

Feel for you Lawbags, really do.

Yes spoke to many people over the years how have had bikes nicked by some amazing means. Removing a brick wall was the most extream one I head.

Karve would prob back me up on the Chalet we use (and you guys this weekend(not too jeleus)) as it's not a normal biking chalet and a little out of town seams to be quite safe.

As mentioned would not suprise me if a lot of the thefts are involving the people working/running some of these places.
Be interesting to get a list of palces that have had brake in's and see if theres a patten?

They crowbar'd open a locked door. Another load of guys had an electric garage door hotwired.

According to the police, someone stakes out the chalets by stting at a cafe (or similar) and waits till there is a stack of bikes.
The night ours went, was the 1st night that there was 9 bikes....prior to that, it had only been a max of 3.

Its odd....they left my mates XC bike (which is a 4k plus bike), but took a skanky pair of gloves and a full face....
