Did the training with Jedi www.ukbikeskills.co.uk (look on this website at the bottom of the "about us" page for an overview and link) and it was superb. You will not regret it and so worth every penny. He does one to one, private groups or public groups and can style the training to your needs ie XC, jumps and drops etc.

Take a look at his website and try to find a bad comment ;-)

There really isn't a moutnain bike specific trainer out there, because the only thing that seperates mtb'ing from, say road cycling, are the obstacles which are very difficult to replicate indoors.

My plan is to ride the trainer when I can, I have a similar model to the one listed already though i don't have a remote to increase the resistance other than shifting my drivetrain lol

I also am active throughout the winter in other ways. Because the weather is crappy, I find it easier to get my butt into the gym. I also play a lot of squash which is a great way to keep cardio, agility and leg strength up.

Basically, winter for me is about variety. I need to mix it up a lot because the trainer, regardless of how good the bike vid is you're watching, still suck
