Hi All,

Another new member here from Thurrock!

I have enjoyed cycling before but have not delved too much in mtb, mainly road biking to/from work couple years ago. Looking forward to getting out and trying the Lakeside and Warley runs I have seen some posts about. Are there maps of these routes anywhere I can look at?

I plan on picking up one of the Rockrider range bikes this weekend from Decathlon.

I have heard general good reviews on the sturdiness of these bikes, and would welcome any further feedback on them, or even this model in particular, from any other forum members.

Hello fellow Thurrock rider..... Theres loads of little bits around here you can get yourself comfortable with since MTB'ing is unfimiliar ground to you. Then you can link stuff up and this area can become quite rewarding..... As Simon said, we do a loop around Thurrock which is about 24mile long, and id consider it an entry level ride skill wise, but our pace can be challenging to a new rider.

Anyway, if you ever want some guidance around here, give me a nod. ;)

^^^ What he said... welcome to join in the Thurrock loop anytime - we sometimes also do a Monday night ride that is a slightly slower pace ;)
