Hi All,

Relatively new forum member and relative newbie here

A friend's having a birthday picnic on Box Hill this Sunday and I thought it'd be a good oppurtunity to take my bike and hit some trails for a couple of hours - slightly anti-social I know but sod it, biking first

Problem is I've never been there and so don't know any trails. I've ridden Holmbury and Leith Hill - Yoghurt Pots, Telegraph Row, BKB, and Summer Lightning (as well as just happening across single track) - but each time I spent too long looking for the buggers. Are there any similar trails around Box Hill and is there an app I can get on my iPhone that'll help me find them? Any pointers much appreciated

Strava Heatmap to the rescue...........

Box is probably the least renound the hills for MTB as its quite open. Your not far from ranmore where there are a few and a good couple of hours could be together. Or do the 15 mins pedal to ranmore / coldharbour lane where there is some real off piste goodness.

As Mark mentioned - directions are pretty useless but you should be able to hunt something out using strava heatmaps

Shame it doesn't have inclines and hills Yet !!
