not happy only just put this on my bike 2 weeks ago and my shoes have pretty much destroyed it by taking off the paint!

has anyone ever painted theirs or powder coated them and had success with it or should i just put up with it?

thanks

Polish them out, use a carbide disc first to get all the pain off with out damaging the alli then polish them up. Mine have a load of paint rubbed off too but it doesnt bother me

Cranks will show wear it's just a fact of biking unfortunately.

I have RaceFace Atlas FR that have done it, Gussett Woodstock 3pc cranks do it, Saints do it......

if it bothers you that much as said just raw them and polish them up!

I had the cranks powdercoated on my bike I painted with no problems. As Matt says its just a fact of life about scuffed cranks. The newer XT and XTR cranks have a polished front surface which should prolong their looks. You could polish them or buy crankskins to cover them.

Yep slick graphics and maybe graphicshack.co.uk. I have seen some crankskins on eBay but maybe find out how much they would be to send to the UK as they would probably have ones in your crank shape, shouldn't be too much more as they are only stickers and won't go over the import tax threshold.
I was thinking about doing similar sorts of stickers myself at some point.

I bought some cheapo saint cranks on ebay, very worn, but a lick of paint and new stickers from Slik and the look fine.

Most bike parts can be shot balsted and powder coated quite cheaply, Ive had various frames/forks done.
