Noticed that the real wheel is starting to spin less freely recently & looking at servicing this myself as it looks to be straight forward.

Any pointers from the mechanics out there, is it a straight forward job?

Which hubs if they are the standard fit dt swiss should be sealed cartridge, just careful drive out the old ones and replace fairly straight forward. just have to watch you dont damage the bearings putting them in use a socket that fits the outer ring.

Cheers Neil, I think they are standard shimano's as they have their own part number stamped on them, which i think arent the sealed versions from a little research i have done, although they are on a DT swis wheel !

Either way it sounds doable

If they are cone bearings even easier just wd40 clean and repack. Just a bit of a trial and error to get the cones in the right place so they spin freely without any play. check out park tool website or sheldonbrown.com loads of info
