Good but doesn't help to decide, too much flippin' choice! Everyone seems to have their own preference with tyres. Depends on the type of mud, depth, day of the week etc. If only they weren't so expensive, I could try them all!
Used to run Velociraptors and they were pretty good. Lots of you seem to like Mud X's, some swear by the Medusa's (might try them) and I like the sound of one Conti's with black chilli compound....

Medusa 1.8 LUST are on for £20 at CRC.

I can definitely recommend not getting panaracer mud tyres, while good in pure mud, they fail on even a little bit of anything else, there are better mud tyres out there when you get onto something a bit more solid.

Amen to that - I had Panaracers (1.95) on for Mayhem this year a they got clagged up before I'd even got to the transition area.

Just stuck a maxxis swampthing 2.5 ST on the front of my AM bike. Didn't slip once at Danbury last Saturday. In the summer I run a maxxis highroller 2.35 front but its bad when it's slippery, kept sending me off line into those magnetic trees.
