Go on then, what works and what doesnt ?

My 661 'summer' efforts are next to useless in this cold, anyone got some that are decent fitting, not to bulky and cold proof ? so good they cant live without them in the cold :?:

What are those like regarding windproofness Andy? I have a pair of these http://www.sealskinz.com/index.php?main ... ucts_id=37 but still get fozen thumbs on the short blast to work when it's below zero. Maybe should have gone for these http://www.sealskinz.com/index.php?main ... ucts_id=43 instead!

I bought a pair of winter riding gloves in Aldi months ago and used them a couple of times a while ago and they were great. Think they were £5 :)

Anyone use thin thermal ones and a another over the top, ?. thought about this, but cant get the outer glove over the inner..perhaps need to buy bigger.

I really like my new Scott D30 ones as mentioned in another thread here, although hey are a bit thicker prob wont keep the cold out that much.

Been wearing One Industries ones all summer and winter and they do the trick. My hands took a mile or so to warm up this morning but its seriously cold right now. In regards to undergloves you could try some inners I used to wear them when i played cricket very thin keep you warm and offer some extra padding. Just make sure you get batting ones as keeping ones have a thick extra layer of padding.

I have a pair of these:

I wear them under a regular pair of mx gloves without any padding, they may not keep your hands warmer but you still being able to feel the tip of your fingers :)
