So having rectified the front mech issue - the correct one has fixed the issue along with spacing the bash guard 1.2mm from the spider - I have taken to giving the brakes a bleed.
I have shimano SLX brakes and an epic bleed solutions kit. Ive followed the process.
Before sealing the lever reservoir it says to sqeeze the lever 4-5 times to remove any air from the reservoir. The first sqeeze the leaver goes to the bar with successive pulls making it firmer to the point where the lever moves only a small amount. According to the instructions this is correct, you then seal the reservoir and install pads and the wheel.
The lever remains stiff, is this right? if not whats wrong?
