Be good if we setup our own Essex ride spot too. Be even better if we could do a small bit more building at Danbury as well.

We could probably get Sport England / lottery / something funding to help too.

Anyone up for a long term project?

Your lucky to ride at all at danbury, they keep threatening to close it off to bikes full stop, they have one of the other woods just up the ridgeway from there, that had some of the best XC'ing in there!

Danbury is one of the finest. Is there anything we can do to 'help' situation.

My point is upheld more that if we lost Danbury we would have no local spot. So what about getting a new place going?

easier said than done. your best bet with somewhere like Danbury (athough i haven't been there yet but seen headcams etc) if its council owned land is approaching the council and getting a free build zone allocated. This is what our council have done in mousehold heath in norwich and it works well.
