Hi everyone, just thought I'd give a quick hello.

Looking to get back into riding again, used to live on my bike but haven't really riden for years.

Lost contact with my friends I used to ride with so would be good to meet up with some people on here for some rides.

Used to mainly ride around Hockley/Rayleigh area, Danbury Common back when the Island was still there (was a big shame that went) :D
Also had a great day at PORC though would prob S&*t myself tyring to go there again lol.

Used to have a Kona full susser, can't remember the name but snapped the frame :? ... and then got my current frame.

HT - Planet X Jack Flash which so far has been pretty bomb proof

Hope to get out and ride soon Chris

Greetings from Westcliff-On-Sea also :)

I regularly ride Rayleigh / Hockley, Belfairs / Daws Heath, etc...

Tend to get out at least once a week... This week was absolutely amazing day at Surrey Hills.. Check out the thread here..http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/mountain-bike-rides/the-surrey-hills-august-t913-90.html

You'll have to hook up up with us for a ride.. quite possibly gonna hook up with the 'Grips' ride this Tuesday..
It's a fast paced ride which leaves Grips bike shop at 7pm every Tuesday.. Heads off across to Hockley woods, various routes round there, then across to Daws Heath and back to Rayleigh. Last week was 15 miles in 2 hours.

You'll be needing lights though as it's getting dark so early and even darker in the woods..
I was struggling last week but 2 kind souls lent me their secondary lights so I could stay with it..

But my new light arrived yesterday so all sorted for next week :)

Let me know if you fancy hooking up with us..

Should also be posting a thread in the http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/mountain-bike-rides/ thread to organise next week's jaunt :)

Cheers,

Ev

Hi Ev, thanks for the reply.

I used to ride all around there too as used to live in Ashingdon.

I used to know the people at Grips, I say used to as haven't been in there in years.
One of my old friends used to work there.

Meeting up sounds good, though going on hols next week.

Will check out the other posts

Chris
