There is a downhill race happening on the 23rd October at the gravity project. This will be there first race open to the public.

It is 40mins from London, in hampshire (private venue so can't be exact with address yet)

Anyone interested? Looks good for a close dh venue

Here is a headcam vid of one of the runs

If this is the place then it doesn't look good for general use. 28 days of use a year only. Anyone know why planning app was withdrawn? http://www.froyle.com/magazine/pdf/sept2011.pdf

not sure if that is the place or not, i will find out from the organizer, but he reckons they ride there up to 3-4 times a week so not sure what the 28days of use a year lark is about.

I have a couple of questions:
How much is it to enter?
Is there camping on site?

Also, how do I get to ride the gravity project outside of races? Can members of the public join yet and become fully fledged members? Me and my mates would love to do so but haven't had much info, so any would be appreciated.
Nice one

He said
' hey man,

race entries are £20
camping on site is £5
saturday practice is £5

the gravity project is a members only club. not open to the public as such but anyone can become a member.
the price for membership works out at less than a pound a week. £50 for the year.

indoor and flood lit pumptrack is rideable all year round whatever the weather.
dirtjumps are in the process (had diggers there for the past 3 weeks)
and ample DH runs.

come down, we welcome new riders.'
