Any bike will do - I often go out with Northern who rides a steel hardtail while I rumble along on a 180m freeride bike. Its not what u ride its how you ride it

Will probably do a 2-2.5 hour hillyish loop out and back to high beech and then a 1hr flatish extension if anyone is up for that (very loose guesstimation) See how it goes and whos in the groups I spose.

Looking forward looking to it. I don't think Ive ridden with anyone on this ride before so will be good to put names to avatars.

Oh and I have a new camera so will be pissing you all off by taking by taking random snaps to dial it in ahead of the Triscombe trip. appologies in advance

Ok thanks There might be 2 or 3 of us but me and my friend are 14 btw.

Also what are the trails like. Rocky? Smooth? Flowy? And how hard would you say they were. (sorry i am trying to explian to my friend)

Muddy and rooty, you'll be lucky to find a rock LOL but some fast flowey stuff mixed in with some tight twisty stuff. You'll get out what you put in!

I have my monthly hair cut on Saturday.. so will be all trimmed up ready for the EH MTB Photo shoot on Sunday...

So shiny bikes and clean clothes ready for Sunday

the only prerequisites for the ride are

Sensible mountain bike in good condition and bits not falling off
Helmet
Have some tools and tubes food so you can fix any problems
The ability to pedal up and down some greasy hills for a couple of hours

So basically just the ability to keep some flow in the ride and not make it too stop start for others. If u can do that then its an open invite
