Hi Guys,

I am mtb mad, I am the guy that rides rain or shine and is forever fettling with my bikes, much to my patient wifes distress. Mainly ride XC Epping and own a few bikes but nothing with more than 140mm travel. Seems size matters over here at Essex Herts MTB and although I really enjoy fast technical single track and fancy myself to be a confident rider, I never done any riding that justified full face helmets and body armour, but would be well up to give it a blast.

Look forward to chatting to all the guys I haven't already met on the trails or other forums.

Forum looks really good Jon!

Cheers

Noel

Cheers for stopping by Noel - not all about DH here - we like to do a few trailish day trips too - check the Cannock thread. How did you get on with ur 12h event. Paul said he loved it!

Very chilled weekend. Saturday BBQ and a few beers going around after the test laps. Then Sun was a coffee and Torq filled race afternoon and night. Really good experience, we just took it slow and enjoyed it.

Yeh, but I am quite keen to give it a go too, even though I think my Stumpy is a bit light.

Very keen for the Cannock! Just gotta check with diary (wife).

Hi.

Stumpy if fine for the big stuff; seen some stuff at Woburn Sands done on a On-One hardtail.
