Hi, planning to do a short and hard session at Pole Hill on Tuesday. I can be there from 3-4pm. Anyone coming?

Of course! The idea is to do a 1 or 2 hills short loop and do some time trial laps. I found 2 killer hills last time I went on my own and I know there're other hills I did with Noel and like to try them. Are you keen?
We can meet at Chingford railway station or at this car park: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=51. ... 7&t=h&z=17

Watch the dog, Akif. You go downhill too fast!

Now I know better my new hill training venue. The conditions were fantastic. No mud at all but expect some dogs around

A true well done to Javi for tremendous effort today, put me in my place with his immense speed uphill :P

Absolutely brilliant ride today, one of the best I've been on since riding with the epping crew.

The dog was so excited, we were downhilling at 30mph+, so so close to running it over. Worst part was the owner who was about 100metres downhill of the dog. Hmm, awkward..

We rode around most points leading to pole hill, the climbs were really quite something as I've never done a hill training session before. Learnt some great things from Javi here, things so simple yet effective - concentration and consistency, key in uphill riding :).

Here's a photo of us looking over King George's Reservoir and in the distance the skyline of Central London and everything else north of the river.

Sounds like a great ride - when I FINALLY get my bike back and am released from riding the back-up singlespeed steel hybrid only, I'd definitely be up for this kind of session.

Nice one guys.

There were 2 walkers wandering around there and kindly took the pics. I don't know if the dog could've taken them but who knows
