Here's my long term project. New shell ( well it was in 93) paint and body mods by Thump Thump and interior by Bernie Newbury. Was let down by a very well known engine builder a couple of years ago who was building me a 1914cc and gene berg 5 speed. He held my 3k deposit for nearly three years and never completed the job. so that knocked the wind out of my sails yet again and it's been on the back burner but now the house renovation is nearing completion i can start working on it again this coming winter.
Not sure whether to go down the 1.7i alfasud or air cooled route. The alfasud boxer engines are rare as hens teeth as the cars rotted, and i've only managed to find one 1.7i long block but it needs a lot of work. Could go Type 4???
I'd love to pick up a VW caddy as a daily driver so keep ypour eyes open gents.

Got your Xmas decs up early Clay? I forget that you have a bug. I would go for 2.0 type 4 engine personally?
