Monday night 26th What started out as a nice evenings plod through Thorndon for myself and Festa. How wrong was we?
Riding along quite nicely we finally came across the jumps
So we thought we would have a go do a bit of practicing, on a little hump of course no bigger than an ant hill really, I went first, that was okay but could of done it better I thought. Fester sort of rolled over it lol. My turn again so up the hill I go, came down at about 300mph (slight exaggeration there) hit the ramp, and then it happened! Well I don't know what happened except I crashed spectacularly on landing I went 1 way the bike went the other lol and used my left wrist as a brake (good job im right handed otherwise my sex life would be over ) So that was that, I think we will leave here now and ride on in pain.
Down and down into the woods across a little stream and out onto some nice fields, around the fields we go until we come across a guy telling us were riding round his garden oops! He then spent the next ten minuets telling us we got to go back through the woods and over the stream but the fence you will see is someone else's garden. Off we went lifting our bikes over fallen trees fighting our way through the Amazon rain forest legs cut to shreds and stung to fook we found the stream. Fester crossed the stream and sunk almost to his knee in the mud (should of heard the language) I got a boot full too. More trees to climb over and through more stinging nettles, and there's the fence, but that's as far as we can go following it to the left, we ended up following it the other way and back down to the stream, Fester only went and done it again but left his trainer sunk in the mud and almost fell flat on his face getting it. There we was back where we started fook sake. 2 hours later we covered just 2 miles most of it on foot.
Finally we found the go karts and decided to have a ride down to the visitors center (I think) then it decided to piss down with rain on us and we had that bloody hill to climb in the rain. So all in all it was a worth while ride. Pair of fooking numpties
